The 86th floor features the iconic open-air observation deck with panoramic views, while the 102nd floor offers a higher, enclosed viewing experience with floor-to-ceiling windows.
Reservations are required for admission. We highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance on the website, but tickets can also be purchased onsite at the ticket office located at 12 W 34 Street, between 5th and 6th Avenue.

The Empire State Building is fully ADA-compliant.
- The main entrance at 20 W 34th Street is wheelchair-accessible.
- Motorized and non-motorized wheelchairs are permitted, with ramps throughout the building.
- Accessible restrooms, lowered viewing walls, and binoculars are available on the 86th Floor.
- Service dogs are welcome throughout the building.
- Strollers are allowed but must be able to fold up in observatory areas.
